He graduated from the University of Mississippi and earned his dental degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, finishing near the top of his class. He then completed a rigorous two-year General Practice Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, where he served as Chief Resident.
